5 out of 5 starsI received these CDs in six days from England. The seller is very nice and friendly. The CDs are terrific. You could not go wrong buying one but if you can buy both. I have been glued to the computer. The technique is facinating and I can't wait to try it. The directions are very thorough. I haven't had a chance to try everything but I know I will be busy. It is great to have these CDs to refer to. The seller is coming out with new CDs at the end of the year and I intend to but them.
Sometimes textiles pieces are framed with a protective window mount, some are stretched over canvases and some are backed with fabric. The information for each piece should tell you how it is presented.
Treat your textiles piece as a piece of art work, not a furnishing. Don't wash it. It’s possible that it could be dry-cleaned but I can’t really advise you on this. If the textiles piece/ wall hanging or figurine gets dusty give it a good shaking. It should be possible to spot clean with a damp cloth. If you want to avoid dust altogether it might be best to frame textiles pieces behind glass although this, of course, takes away the tactile nature of the piece.
The images on this website try to show the true likeness of the pieces but the methods involved in the textiles mean that they may look different in altered light conditions, often better.
